The Lone Star State
We just returned from our 5 day trip to Texas to see my grandma, aunt and uncle. They live in San Angelo, which is about 3 hours west of Austin. The trip started off a little rough, we had a 3 hour delay in Rapid City. Yep, you heard me right...in Rapid. I guess it had something to do with the heat and crew problems. Anyway, we ended missing all of our connecting flights in Denver and Dallas. So we flew (first class) into Austin and rented a car for the rest of the trip into San Angelo. It gave Tim the opportunity to see more of Texas, since he's never been there before. We had a great time, lots of laughs and major humidity.
