The Next Best Thing!
For those who don't know Tim very well, he is a huge hockey fan. He loves watching the Colorado Avalanche play. Tim and I even went to Denver two years ago to watch a game for his birthday. However, it's getting harder to find time to get to Denver, this year I bought him the cable hockey package so he could watch all the games at home! Tim and I became so excited when we heard that Rapid City was taking on a CHL team! We attended the very FIRST home game of the Rapid City Rush hockey team in the brand new ice arena Saturday night. Tim's dad surprised him with season tickets for his birthday! He shared his seats with his brother-in-law, Tim Olson. I sat with Tim's sisters: Melissa, Christina and Mary. WE HAD A BLAST!! The Rush won 4-0 against the Colorado Eagles. We will keep you updated on Rush happenings!
