Bitter-Sweet
We hate saying good-bye to summer, it only means that school is starting and the girls have to head back to day care. However, this year we did it with a bang. Tim and I are always looking for family traditions we can start with the girls...and we think we found one that will last a long time. We headed back to the lake that Tim and I camped at a few weeks ago. The beach is AWESOME!!! So our new Labor Day tradition is going to Roubiax (row-bay) Lake to play on the beach. We had so much fun as a family. The girls enjoyed playing in the sand, building castles, and running in and out of the water. Tim and I enjoyed watching them...wishing that time could stand still.

Beach Babe Sophia

This one insisted that I call her "Mermaid Izzy"
(she watches to much Dora)

Playin' and lovin' it

Daddy and Izzy in the sand

Sophie loved the feeling of wet sand in her fingers

Found a cup to build the perfect castle

Shh...don't tell sissy that I broke her cup.
