Turkey Day!
For Thanksgiving, the girls and i joined my parents for a trip to Iowa to see my Grandma, Aunt and Uncle. My cousin and his family were also there. The 3 days were filled with playing, laughing, eating, and more eating. All I can say is that I am truly BLESSED to have such a terrific family!

On the road again...

Hanging out with Granma Great

Playing in the pool (aka: hot tub)

Catching a ride...giddy up!

Izzy LOVED every second that she
was able to play with Dori and Dayna

My little turkey!
(Sophie carried that turkey around like it was her baby)
Drew showed Izzy and Sophie where to put
Baby Jesus in the Nativity scene.

Come Back!! We miss you!! Thanks for spending long hours in the car to come and spend Thanksgiving with us. It was so much fun having you here. It's been pretty quiet and lonely since everyone went home! Derrick & Dayle & kids stopped on their way back to Grimes to cut down a Christmas tree and also got to see Santa. Drew is wondering what Santa's real name is since he heard someone call him "John". Dayle quickly changed the subject. Hopefully we'll get out that way this summer but if not we always have a place for ya here! The girls were so good; I hope the trip wasn't too much for them and that they're back into their routine. We love you! Hope the girls are having fun with the nativity set. Hugs & Kisses- Aunt Deb & Uncle Den
