Well, we managed to have a 'super fun' 4th of July weekend, however I have not fully recovered and am still a little sleep deprived. Saturday we took the girls to the pool for some fun in the sun. They have become quite the little swimmers, which I think is from going everyday with daycare. Afterwards we headed to the library to grab new books and movies for the rest of the weekend.
On Sunday we joined Tim's friends and their families for a 4th BBQ and fireworks. The girls enjoyed the wide open spaces of the farm, and loved the play house/sand box that was there too.
Monday night was the local 4th of July celebration in the city park. The girls played on the inflatable slides and toys, tried their first sno-cones and stayed awake long enough to see the fireworks.
