August Wrap Up

 Again, another month has passed us by.  The end of August, brings the end of summer.  Kids are off to school and the academic year has started on campus.  We have been busy as ever.  I keep hoping that I will have more time to blog, but there are not enough minutes in the day or days in the week.
Here are the fun things that filled our month:

Aunt Mary and Zak

At the beginning of the month, Aunt Mary and Zak made a trip to Sioux Falls.  We had a wonderful time visiting with Mary, Granma Linda, and Aunt Debbie - we also had plenty of snuggle time with baby Zak.  This was Tim's first time meeting his newest nephew.  The girls adore Zak, and wanted to share their toys with him.

 County Fair Time!

It was fair time in Vermillion!  The girls enjoyed jumping in the inflatable castles, riding the horses, and eating funnel cake.

Fun at Wild Water West!

We took an evening and headed to Sioux Falls for some end-of-summer pool fun. 

Sleep Over!

Izzy invited her friend Jorie over for their first sleepover.  The girls had so much fun!  We started with a pizza picnic party, then on to pedicures and nail painting, and finished with movies and popcorn.  I even made the girls their own pillows to remember the evening.  ;-)

First Day of School

This was a BIG day for our family, as Sophia started her second year of Preschool and Izzy headed to Kindergarten.  Yes, you read that right...KINDERGARTEN!  I can't believe it! Where has time gone?

They both had wonderful first days, and had so many stories to tell us at dinner that night.
