However, we knew the holidays wouldn't be the same without our families, so a few days after Christmas we headed back to Rapid City. We were able to celebrate Christmas's with both families. Our weekend was fun, chaotic, busy, restful, joyful and memorable! But instead of telling you all about it, I will let the pictures do the talking. {Note: I have to thank Mel for a few of the pictures, she seemed the capture a few of the moments that I missed}

Ice Skating at Main Street Square
This was the first time that the girls have skated. They were so excited, as they really want to learn how to play hockey some day. I took each one of them around by themselves at first, but then they caught on and both ended up going around once all by themselves.

Zakariah Timothy Schweitzer was baptized on Sunday, Dec. 30 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Tim and I, along with his siblings Mel, Christina, Gabe and Brother-in-law Tim were honored to be chosen as Zak's Godparents.

+ Our 6th Wedding Anniversary
I can't imagine ending the trip any other way!
Tim and I were able to escape for our (almost) annual anniversary trip to Deadwood.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, a little gambling and topped the evening off ringing in the new year!
