My picture for this week was suppose to represent light in some way, specifically 'finding the light'. I will admit that I thought and thought about this one. What would I take a picture of? Of course, the girls always come to mind, but I wanted to think/look elsewhere. Hmmm...
On Monday morning, as I met my running buddy, Abby, at our normal parking lot, tired and sore from the race 2 days prior, it hit me...or should I say 'a light bulb came on.' LOL! The light post in the parking lot! That would be my 'light.' This light could represent so many things. It marks out spot. It is our starting line. It lights the way. It is our beacon. It's also our finish line. Our end. Our 'we made it.' Our stretching post. This has been ours since November when we started running every morning...and I know it will continue to be ours as we drag ourselves out of bed for many mornings to come.
